A new year ....

Can bring new ideas! And new hobbies!

I don't believe that my family of three is the most exciting in the world, but that doesn't mean we don't have things to share with our family members near and far.

Since Poppy is down south, Aunt Bean is up north, and Aunt Erma is southwest, I thought I could share little bits of the McHugh family happenings through a blog.

Today is a quiet Sunday for Mom and B. Dad is off to work in a few minutes, so that means it's a girl day for sure. We have no concrete plans, except for laundry. Blah. Our foster Greyhound Chocolate may be visiting a potential new home today. Although we've had him for 11 months, I can't bring myself to adopt him. I love him like he's my own, but since starting this fostering process have always reminded myself that he will one day find his forever home. I know Greta will miss her playmate, but by letting Chocolate go it opens our home to fostering another Greyhound in the future. (And by future, I do not mean in the NEAR future.)

Off I go for my quiet and wonderful lazy Sunday afternoon with my B. I'm thinking today might consist of a movie, too. Now I wonder if we have any popcorn ....... can you hear my belly growling??
